Welcome to our innovative early-stage investment syndicate, distinct from traditional Angel Investor clubs and Venture Capital firms. Our approach combines the flexibility of an Investment Club with the access and benefits of a VC fund, all without a 10-year commitment. We offer a new level of investment opportunities, blending the best aspects of both worlds to redefine early-stage investing.
We are committed to helping and collaborating with Founders to enhance their chances of success in scaling a company. Our close-knit international Members include entrepreneurs, business owners, and senior executives who have successfully scaled businesses across key sectors in Southeast Asia, East Asia and Europe. We maintain a by-invitation only group limited to 75 members worldwide and carefully select our Members to ensure they possess deep expertise, a broad global network, and the right mindset to augment the unique talents of Founders. Where we invest - our Thesis for Founders.
Our investment thesis focuses on founders who are actively addressing significant challenges and display transparency, courage, and adaptability to feedback. Our aim is to support businesses poised for substantial growth and equipped to tackle complex global issues. Priority is given to sectors where our members have extensive expertise, ensuring they can offer valuable insights and play a pivotal role in the startups' growth and success. In our 2024 Pledge Edition, we have made the conscious decision to focus in the sectors of Enterprise SaaS, Energy & Climate-tech and Automotive & Mobility due to their transformative potential and rapid growth trajectories.
In Automotive & Mobility, we see an opportunity to invest in technologies that are reshaping transportation, from electric vehicles and components, to autonomous driving and shared mobility solutions, addressing both environmental concerns and changing consumer behaviours. For Enterprise SaaS, the proliferation of digital transformation across industries presents a lucrative opportunity. Companies offering scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency, cybersecurity, and remote collaboration are in high demand. By focusing on these sectors, seeders&seekers leverages emerging trends and technological advancements, ensuring our investments support innovations that redefine markets and offer unique and scalable solutions to pressing global challenges.
Similarly, the rising market demand for green technologies and the global push towards net-zero emissions inform our decision to invest in the Energy and Climate-tech sectors. We recognize the critical need for innovative solutions to tackle global climate issues, moving beyond superficial ESG metrics. Our thesis centers on supporting ventures that are set for exponential growth and can make a tangible impact on environmental challenges. We focus on companies that are pioneering in renewable energy, energy storage solutions, and carbon reduction technologies, aligning our investments with the urgent environmental goals of our time.
As for the investment stage, our main emphasis lies with seed-stage companies. These are businesses where even modest revenues evidence a product-market fit, and where valuations remain under US$15M. That said, we're open to pre-seed ventures with compelling propositions and credible Founders. On occasion, we venture into Series A & B or even turnaround situations when the opportunity is right.

How our Members invest - our Pledge model.
Our investment process is designed for agility and speed to match the pace of the dynamic businesses we invest in. We move away from the constraints of traditional 5-10-year investment plans or unpredictable ad-hoc investment approaches with high fees, updating our Investment Thesis annually with each seeders&seekers Pledge Edition. This structured approach allows us to make 6-8 investments annually, ensuring focused engagement with founders and optimizing investment amounts for balanced risk and equity in early-stage companies.
Investment decisions within our syndicate are driven by member choice. Members pledge their individual contribution before the launch of each Pledge Edition by selecting from four tiers (Flex, Silver, Gold, Platinum) and have the autonomy to decide not to participate in specific company investments.
Our investment opportunities are sourced from a rich ecosystem of Members, Founders, and Partners, including accelerators, VCs, government bodies, and other investment platforms, complemented by active searches for companies that align with our Investment Thesis. This strategy ensures a diverse and quality deal flow.
The Investment Committee evaluates each potential investment, utilizing insights from our Members and their networks for sector-specific expertise. Selected companies are invited to pitch, with seeders&seekers providing Members with a comprehensive investment considerations summary to inform their decisions.
Investments are facilitated through a digital platform managing a rolling special-purpose vehicle (SPV) for each Pledge Edition, offering a streamlined and tax-efficient way to invest. Our options for investment include direct equity, convertible notes, and SAFEs, with incentives aligned to Member Tier, ensuring our objectives are in harmony with those of our Members and Founders. Together, we strive not just to invest, but to foster a thriving future for everyone involved.

Joining seeders&seekers connects you with like-minded investors dedicated to identifying and supporting emerging businesses through our syndicate. Our operations span four strategic locations: Singapore, serving as the gateway to Southeast Asia; Hong Kong, focusing on China; and Helsinki, covering the Nordics and DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region. Admission for new members involves sponsorship by an existing member, endorsement by a seeders&seekers partner or founder, and a discussion with our General Manager.
Membership offers the chance to interact directly with founders of promising startups, providing a platform to influence their growth, drive economic progress, and enhance your intellectual and personal brand. Beyond investments, we cherish the bonds and networking among our members. We cultivate this community spirit through social events, including an annual meet-up for members, founders, and partners in a Global City to deepen connections and share insights in a relaxed setting.
Members introducing viable investment opportunities may receive a share of seeders&seekers' performance incentives and potentially secure advisory roles within chosen startups. Membership involves committing to each Pledge Edition through one of four tiers and actively participating in our investment selection and member admission processes.
Due to the risks associated with startup investments, members are required to complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) procedure on our digital SPV platform, which includes verifying their status as Accredited Investors.
